This page explains what ZaZa Silks keeps when you shop with us, and how to ask about it.

What we collect

When you order, Stripe’s secure checkout asks for your name, email, delivery address and card details. We keep your name, email and delivery address, along with what you ordered and what you paid. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.

If you email us, we keep your email and our reply.

Our website host records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use your details to post your order and email you about it, and to help if you get in touch. We keep order records for our business accounts.

We don’t send marketing emails, and we don’t sell or share your details for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the shop:

  • Stripe, which takes your payment and checks it for fraud
  • Resend, which sends our order emails
  • Vercel, which hosts this website and counts visits
  • Supabase, which stores our order records
  • The post or courier service that delivers your parcel
  • C4 Studios, the Perth studio that runs this website for us

Outside Australia

Our order records are stored in Sydney. Stripe, Resend and Vercel are based in the United States, so your details may be handled there. Our order emails are sent through Resend’s servers in Japan.

Cookies and visits

This website doesn’t use cookies or advertising trackers. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It notes the page you’re on, the website that sent you here, your country and your type of device. It doesn’t identify you, and it can’t follow you to other websites.

Your bag is saved in your own browser until you check out. Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies to process your payment safely.

Seeing or fixing your details

Email zazasilks@gmail.com and we’ll tell you what we hold about you, and fix anything that’s wrong.

Questions or complaints

Email us first and we’ll work it out with you. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
